content26 Production Specialists
Sucha Sukjaem – Production Lead
Sucha started at content26 in early 2010 as a Producer. She is known for her attentiveness and clean, well thought out designs. Since her start, Sucha has been assigned to various projects from producing a basic A+ page, to building the company website. Apart from producing and overseeing the design quality of content26, she keeps herself busy as a freelance web designer. Sucha received an A.A.A. in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of Seattle in 2009, and today lives with her husband, cats, and a snake in Renton.
Amy Chen – Production Specialist
As a Producer at content26, Amy creates exquisite product detail pages and marketing sell sheets. She’s a graduate of the BFA Graphic Design program at The Art Institute of Seattle, and was hired by content26 in the fall of 2010. Aside from the entertaining office meetings and emails, her favorite part about working at the company is the flexible and easygoing work environment. Constantly on the quest for creative stimulation, she enjoys knitting, reading design and craft blogs, and learning acoustic guitar. Though she can’t give blood, she’ll gladly give her time and advice to her coworkers – which is usually greatly appreciated.
Andy Lin – Design Specialist
Andy started at content26 in 2007 (long before content26 was called content26, or even content25). Through the years, Andy has: composed distinguished content and captions, crafted product description pages, introduced new design specifications and schemata, photographed products, meticulously coordinated the use of a French press coffee pot and 201-degree water for superlative office coffee, and acquired new friends. At the moment he’s enjoying the title of Designer–with a bit of Producer, Photographer, and general Superman on the side. Andy studied computers and English at Cornell University and received an MFA in Creative Writing at Emerson College. He runs marathons unprofessionally, and once dated a model. He makes the finest pizza in all Seattle.
Don Jackson – Technical Lead | Design Specialist
Even before becoming a Designer and Technical Lead for content26, Don was no stranger to the computer world. He worked in IT for 10 years before obtaining his degree in Interactive Media Design at the Art Institute of Seattle. Don has continued to widen his range and sharpen his skills in technology since his hire at content26 in 2010, moving from product page design to photography, video, and voice over work. A firm believer in “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger,” Don finds relaxation in electronic music and the occasional remix.
Jeff Kirby – Content | Production Specialist
Jeff studied Creative Writing at Western Washington University. In addition to gaining invaluable word knowledge, he learned to seamlessly integrate his strong work ethic with the ability to have a good time all the time. A lover of independent music, graphic novels, and sandwiches, Jeff is pleased to use his brain power to concisely describe the vast array of goods sold on the internet. Jeff joined forces with the content26 team in the summer of 2010, and after vigorous trials of strength, endurance, and HTML coding, was awarded the title of Content and Production Specialist.
Matthew “Bloodbath” McGrath – Production Specialist
An Oregon native, Matt moved to Seattle to attend Seattle Pacific University—he currently holds degrees in International Business and Professional Writing. Prior to joining content26, Matt worked as a drummer, pizza maker, and advertising intern with varying degrees of success. He is now a Production Specialist, again with varying success. Matt spends his free time wearing American Apparel hoodies, smoking a pipe whilst reading philosophy books, and generally wishing he lived in the 1920s.
Kaoru Sotoma – Production Specialist
Kaoru was content26′s first employee in 2005, after having worked as a software engineer for NCR Japan. Kaoru holds a degree in International Business from Kobe University, and currently holds the title of Production Specialist. Her “keep it simple” philosophy is evident as an effective process for dealing with production–and people. Kaoru enjoys the relaxed and easy-going atmosphere of content26, holding the firm belief that “as long as whiskey is in my life, life is good.”
Ryan Mallett – Production Specialist
A Pacific Northwest native, Ryan is no stranger to seafood, rain, and frustrating sports franchises. Prior to joining content26 in the fall of 2011, he held unique roles in marketing, media production, and web design for various local startups. When he’s not busy fine-tuning A+ pages, you might find him enjoying a local micro-brew, crabbing on Hood Canal, or doing a combination of the two. He once received a fortune cookie that said, “You will step on the soil of many countries.” In obligation to hold up his end of the fortune, he spent the next eight months traveling throughout Asia. Now back on this side of the Pacific, Ryan resides with his wife and their 23-pound cat in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle.
